  • Who owns the cards we add?

    Cards added by members are stored together in the team's shared book and belong to the team (the company). They stay put even when the responsible person changes.

  • What happens to the cards when someone leaves?

    When someone leaves or moves teams, the cards and meeting history the team has built up remain in place, so handovers never break.

  • Can we add cards we already have?

    Yes. Just photograph the cards you already have with the app — they're recognized in 0.2 seconds and filed into your team's shared book.

  • How much can we use for free?

    All Premium features are free until further notice. Our current plan is to keep Kumbuka for Teams free through the early growth period, including up to around 100,000 users, and we may continue offering it for free beyond that. The regular price is TSh 1,000 (Tanzanian shillings) per user per month if paid plans are introduced later.

  • Will small companies stay free?

    We are considering a permanent free tier for companies with five or fewer employees. Any pricing change will be announced clearly before it affects existing teams.

  • Is our data stored securely?

    We encrypt data in transit and at rest and manage per-member access permissions to keep it safe.
